Israeli Occupation Arrest 35 Residents in Late 24 Hours in West Bank

Israeli occupation forces are going ahead for the fourth days in raw in the wide scale arrest raids in the West Bank cities and towns in which 35 Palestinians were rounded up Friday and today morning.

IOF troops also stormed the houses of Jawad Al Ateri, from Yatta town, Shareif Al Jabari, omar and Hazem Al Natsha from Hebron city so as to detain them but they were unavailable at that moment, the soldiers left them notices notifying them to go to the intelligent office.

Local source in Nablus reported that occupation soldiers arrested five residents, said to be members of Hamas, after invading several neighborhoods in the city and breaking into dozens of homes.

The detainees were identified as Mohammad Akkouba,38, Zahi Al Kousa,23, and three brothers identified as Naseem,30, Darweesh,37, and Mohammad,29, Hbeisha.

One resident was arrested in Jayyous village, near Tulkarem, after occupation soldiers invaded it. The resident was identified as Isam Mohammad Shbeita, 31aged.

Local sources said that IOF troops barred the residents aged 16-40 years old to go in or out Nablus through all the military checkpoints in Hewara, Za?tra, south Nablus, Beit Ebia, wet the city and Al Bathan , north east the city.

Eyewitnesses mentioned that an Israeli military unit backed by military vehicles and jeeps assaulted Allar and Anabta towns in Tulkarem province. No arrests were reported.

IOF continued to impose strict siege on Tulkarem City and erected numbers of military checkpoints on its crossroads particularly Qalqilia-Tulkarem main road, Bal'a and Al-Jarosheia crossroads.

Eyewitnesses said that the IOF stepped up its despotic measures against residents who want to pass through checkpoints, held tens of cars for a long time and hindered citizens and employees' movements.

IOF stormed amidst heavy fire into several areas in Jenin City in the West Bank.

Security sources reported that numbers of Israeli military tanks and vehicles broke into Jenin City and widely deployed in various areas inside the city.
